This year's All Indians Weekend took place on June 6–8, 2026, in the Benešov region, in the immediate vicinity of the D1 motorway, at the Akademie Hotel. Yes, exactly where the famous Naháč motorway restaurant used to be. The event was organized by Ondra Chládek, who is young not only in spirit—like all the other members—but also in body, unlike the rest of us. So he has plenty of energy, which is needed to organize such an event.

All Indians Weekend is a rally with a tradition dating back a quarter of a century and is open to all Indian motorcycles manufactured before 1953. We have always tried to make the event as simple and accessible as possible for everyone, which over the years has repeatedly attracted participants from all corners of Europe. The weekend has undoubtedly contributed to our club's good reputation in Europe and also laid the foundation for last year's international rally in Most – with 220 Indian motorcycles on site!

So, to the point: on Friday, June 6, after lunch, I headed to the TK station with a slight apprehension about whether I would be allowed to ride "on the axle." I was too lazy to load and unload the motorcycle from the trailer—and a few extra miles wouldn't hurt. The Scout was found to be in perfect condition, so around 4 p.m. I set off for Chocerady, about 100 km away. I had a sudden inspiration to wrap the luggage on the rack in plastic wrap – and it paid off. From Čechtice, where I filled up with M6A at a gas station and had a good cup of coffee, I was greeted by light rain. The Scout ran great – it's not for nothing (and rightly so) that the 101 model is called the best motorcycle of all time. A balanced, comfortable, nimble, and light machine that you can really enjoy riding – even if it's almost a hundred years old.

At the Akademie Hotel, I was warmly welcomed by Ondra and the others, as well as the hotel staff – for which I immediately and selflessly rewarded them with a greasy stain in front of the reception desk. Then came what we love so much about our get-togethers: beer (Bernard 12°), chatting about motorcycles, dinner, and more stories until late at night (or was it early morning?). There were bowling lanes available, and those who didn't want to play simply sat around. The hotel is new, fragrant, and I – as a typical "couch potato" – appreciated the nice room with windows overlooking the greenery and the possibility of a private hot shower. My partner was my friend Kukačka, a scout. We hid our motorcycles in a giant tent for the night and, as is tradition, they were guarded by a hired security service.

On Saturday, we enjoyed a great breakfast, and after warming up our bodies and machines, we set off on a 100 km ride. The route led at a leisurely pace along small roads to the brewery in Kácov, where a hearty lunch awaited us. Then we continued to Vlašim – to a pastry shop on the square – for our "signature" dessert: Indian cake and coffee. On the way back, I separated from the group while looking for a place to take pictures, so I rode solo and was again lightly sprinkled from above. In the early evening, the lively debate continued. Indian is a topic that knows no generational boundaries.

After an excellent dinner and an official summary of the meeting, there was a very interesting interactive lecture—or perhaps a colloquium?—led by Dr. Waclav. The audience also actively participated in the debate, contributing important information on the topic of Indian Prince. We really went into depth. The lecture was excellently prepared and brilliantly led. I hope that the author will put this work to good use at this year's international rally in Denmark, where we are going. It would be a wonderful contribution for the Czech club.

As always, Sunday morning was marked by departures and farewells. I had another 100 km ahead of me – the trip went smoothly, except for the last third, which I once again "enjoyed" in the rain.

This year, the rally took place on a slightly different date and attracted fewer participants than usual, but I'm not complaining. The crowd of redheads was powerful, the atmosphere informal and great – and since I gave up organizing after last year, I was finally able to enjoy the Indian meeting in the Czech Republic as a regular participant for the first time.

I invite all Indian enthusiasts – come to next year's event!

That's why All Indians Weekend was created. You will be welcome.
